I come from Sweden. I keep doing what I want to do, doesn’t matter where I am but I drink coffee. I like to meet people. That’s what I do for life. I like to move around, go to new places. What I do for money for work would be also different. Working with coffee, working with good fitness, and a little bit of film and media. I like to have multiple jobs, do a lot of things, and meet a lot of people.

What I like about coffee really comes down to the people. A lot of places have food and coffee but what about the other elements around that. The people give you the experience you don’t expect. It triggers the emotional wow effects when you share your story and learn the lesson from someone that can teach you something about life.

I also start my own project called startingwith sticker where I create sticker based on the inspiration I get from drinking coffee, looking at patterns and movements. I go to a new place everyday for that.

I used to work in finance in Europe, mostly in Switzerland and in France. I was also collecting a lot of street art, urban art, back then. But six years ago, I was tired with my job and my life in Switzerland and I wanted something a bit more challenging and exciting. I looked for a place where the graffiti on the street art scene was still pretty small but with a lot of potential and Bali is the answer.

I love art in general since I was young. I was lucky my parents took me to the museum to see some arts. I love the process of the creation of art. I love watching people painting wall or canvas. What I love about art also it connects people.

Graffiti is all about community. Graffiti in general also connects people. We meet with each other in our community and go somewhere to make beautiful arts. But a lot of people see that as dirty, nasty and vandalism. But that’s not the idea. The Idea is we pain beautiful murals in the community to make the
neighborhood look beautiful.

My whole life I was thinking with one side of my brain. I think I always been creative but I was not really stimulated in that field. When I came to Bali I continuously met people on my path that put me in certain direction that I felt like I needed to explore more.

I went from a yoga teacher training to reiki energy healing to wise women retreats. Even I am not the kind of person that is super yoga. I don’t actually do yoga everyday. But Yoga was a gateway for me into that spiritual self-study and self-improvement world. Now I prefer dancing and embodied movement as a tool to more in tune with my nature.

Dancing for me is a form of meditation. I feel free when I dance. The only thing that matters is the music and your body in the movement. When you dance, you would hear a certain layer of music and you moved to that layer. Then you hit the next layer and then you started moving to that eventually your body became one with the music.

I’d say I have had a few careers in my life. I started out as a visual artist because I was born into a family of sculptors. I started out in Visual Arts from a very young age. I was a child artist. I was showing my artwork and selling it from the age of four. Then when I was eleven I fell in love with music and I had a new dream to become a singer. I was told that in order to become a successful singer, I would have to write my own songs. So now I also am a singer and songwriter. I am also now working on a project I’m extremely passionate about. It’s sort of a community hub for people to come and read positive content and get inspired called, The Fearless Nomad.

I see many people around me not doing what they love. The only reason for that being is that they have these false belief systems in place and these limitations. Beliefs about yourself not being enough and not being talented enough. I want to create something that can shed a little light in the world about that.

International travel to Bali was not something that I thought was ever going to be in my life. Where I came from, Los Angeles, in my head that time it was the thing that only rich people do. I was always sort of working to get comfortable to have enough and just being content.

I was working a lot and beginning to achieve the things that I wanted to achieve. I was rising through the levels that I wanted to rise to. I was kind of getting the things I wanted to get on a certain level. When I was 21, I would have done unspeakable things to be able to achieve what I had and I was not still satisfied.

Somehow, in the late 20s, I got the chance to visit my best friend in Bali. There I was struck by that outpouring of genuine kindness from the Balinese and just that care for one another. That genuine interest of service to another person for no sort of recourse or reward or anything just being kind to people for the sake of being kind. These are why I decided to stay and work here.
